Application

The NUCLEO-8L152R8 is a low-cost STM8 Nucleo-64 development board designed for rapid evaluation and prototyping with the STM8L152R8T6 ultra-low-power 8-bit microcontroller. The board integrates an on-board ST-LINK/V2-1 debugger/programmer, eliminating the need for an external debug probe, and supports USB Virtual COM Port, Mass Storage, and debug interfaces. It features Arduino™ Uno V3 connectors and ST morpho expansion headers, allowing compatibility with a wide range of expansion shields. Powered from USB or an external 3.3 V, 5 V, or 7–12 V source, the board includes user LEDs, push-buttons, and a 32.768 kHz LSE crystal for low-power applications. It is intended for evaluation, education, and rapid development of ultra-low-power embedded systems, industrial control, sensor nodes, smart metering, home automation, and general STM8 application development.
