Application

The EVLONE65W is a 65 W USB Type-C Power Delivery reference design developed by STMicroelectronics for evaluating high-density USB-PD power adapters. Based on the ST-ONE digital controller and the MASTERGAN4 integrated GaN power stage, it implements a non-complementary zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) active clamp flyback converter capable of delivering high efficiency (>93%) and a power density of 30 W/in³. The board supports USB PD 3.1.1.2 with Programmable Power Supply (PPS), providing five fixed PDOs and two programmable APDOs over an output range of 3.3 V to 21 V. Integrated protection functions include brown-out, overcurrent, overtemperature, overvoltage, and undervoltage protection.
