Application
onsemi / Fairchild AccuPower™ Adjustable Over-Current Protection Load Switches provide full protection to systems and loads from excess current conditions. The FPF270X family contains a slew-rate-controlled N-Channel MOSFET and slew-rated turn-on to prevent power bus disturbances from being caused by hotplugging loads or momentary excess load demands. The onsemi / Fairchild AccuPower™ Load Switches feature a 2.8V to 36V input voltage range, typical RDS(ON) of 88mΩ, the adjustable current limit of 0.4A to 2A, controlled slew rate, thermal shutdown, UVLO protection, and power-good output. The typical applications of the FPF270X family are motor drives, digital cameras, consumer electronics, computing, hard disk drives, and telecom equipment.
